The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Well there's alot been going on lately, im also going to clean up this journal a bit...including fixing my watch list, clubs and links and stuff

Without a dout, im going to start becoming a bit more serious about my art also..if i ever get my hands on some decent art materiel

Plus im seriously thinking of re-organzing my room...i sick of everything in my room looking so cramp and plain...i need color!!!! a art desk!!! POSTERS!!!!! Getting rid my aunts useless stuff she doesnt use becuase she lives somewhere else!! (Slams head on wall) It's like a frigin cold that keeps coming back and lingers for a long time

Iv gotta get my own place, I'll show them wrong!! I wont burn the house or apartment down!! Plus i'll keep it clean..well as clean as i can be anyway..not super neat or anything i hate that. A little mess is esential to my well being not to mention sanity which i have little left of.

It seems like things in my life are at a pernament stand still hault, and it doesn't look like it's going to be moving for a long time..like rush hour in new york city on the interstate during a snowstorm and a few head on collisions.

If i ever get through this retarded cycle of failer my danny phantom art will come back into swing. Not to mention i want to do a character sheet for Jade who i need to redesign.

Im being kicked off the computer now..so i'll finish ranting later on
